Why I Chose to Represent Only Buyers

I have been a licensed real estate agent in Tucson, Arizona for over 8 years. For most of that time, I did what most agents do — I worked with whoever needed help, buyers and sellers alike. I bought leads from teams and brokerages, paid 70 to 85 percent of my commission to access them, and worked harder and harder just to keep up.

It was not sustainable. And more importantly, it was not the kind of business I wanted to build.

The turning point came when I started asking a simple question: who am I actually serving? When you represent both buyers and sellers, the answer is never fully clear. There is always a tension, always a compromise somewhere.

So I made a decision. I would represent buyers exclusively — and I would build a business around that commitment. No seller listings. No dual agency. No conflicts of interest. Just a clear, honest focus on helping people find the right home in Tucson at the right price, with someone genuinely in their corner.

That decision changed everything. My clients get better outcomes because my only job is to protect their interests. I know the Tucson market deeply — from Catalina Foothills to Oro Valley, from Marana to Rita Ranch — because I have spent years studying it from the buyer's perspective.
